We are delighted to welcome you into the Avalon Birth House: a beautiful private space in Glastonbury, with views of Glastonbury Tor from most every window.
The Avalon Birth House is a space to pause in, to retreat to, to dream in the next version of yourself in. We offer the space for Birthworkers and Birthing folks, and it is also available for private retreats.
We have a private garden, an open fireplace in the large living room and an open plan kitchen/diner to gather in.
We welcome you to our Courses, a space for Birthing, to Motherblessings and more. Come spend time with the wondrous Grandmother Doula Samsara Tanner or founder Kate Woods in preparation for birth, or have a prenatal massage with one of our amazing practitioners.
Come live with us whilst you learn the ancient art of birthkeeping, whilst you await your baby’s arrival or whilst you’re exploring the magical Avalon and surrounding countryside.
You are welcome across the threshold of the Avalon Birth House, which has been created with blessings, prayers and intentions.

If you are looking for a retreat space, please note-we have one twin room, one double room and one single room, a large living room and kitchen/diner and bathroom. There’s a fireplace and a private garden. We offer this whole space for £350 per night, which is £70 per night each for a group. We include a self-serve breakfast for the first morning, which we leave for you to enjoy, alongside fresh flowers to decorate your space.
