I'm an Accredited Birth & Postpartum Doula, Hypnobirthing Instructor, Birth Educator, proud mother of four and grandmother. Supporting women, babies and families isn't simply my career - it's my calling.
Alongside my work as a doula, I bring over two decades of experience working with children and families through education and family support, both in the UK and internationally. As a qualified Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), I've had the privilege of supporting families from many different backgrounds, always with empathy, cultural sensitivity and a deep respect for every family's unique journey.
At the heart of everything I do is advocacy.
I believe every woman deserves to feel heard, respected and fully informed throughout pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. Too often, women leave their maternity experience feeling unheard or disempowered. My role is to help change that. I support you to understand your options, ask questions with confidence, make informed decisions and navigate the maternity system knowing your voice matters.
As your doula, I don't make decisions for you - I ensure you feel confident making the decisions that are right for you. Whether you're planning a hospital birth, home birth, caesarean birth or VBAC, I will provide evidence-based information, unwavering emotional support and calm, reassuring continuity of care, always honouring your choices without judgement.
My approach is warm, intuitive and deeply person-centred. Through birth education, hypnobirthing and continuous support, I help you replace fear with confidence, uncertainty with knowledge, and isolation with genuine connection. I believe birth has the power to shape families for years to come, and every woman deserves to enter that experience feeling safe, informed and supported.
Just as importantly, I recognise that birth is only the beginning. As a postpartum doula, I continue to walk alongside families as they adjust to life with a new baby, offering practical support, emotional reassurance and nurturing care during one of life's biggest transitions. I honour not only the birth of your baby, but the birth of you as a parent.
